IT Update: Web Page and Social Media communications

In our efforts to continue to provide exemplary service to the Albion
College community, we have made a number of changes to make it easier for
users to contact IT, and for IT to let users know what is happening with
our services. To accommodate this, we have totally revamped the Albion
College Information Technology’s web page and Social Media presence. We
have also made some additions that we hope enhance our communications.

display pertinent information and answer your questions on the day to day
use of technology here at Albion College. If you have certain pages
bookmarked, please take a look as the links may have changed.
Email to is now a one-stop shop for any technology
questions or concerns you may have. Each email is immediately responded to
via an automated system, and is logged and followed through on by a work

provide information on all of IT. All IT updates and incidents are now
posted to the Facebook and Twitter pages, so liking and following us there
will help you to be notified of any system outages, maintenance windows, or
systems updates here at Albion College.

home for self-produced training documentation and user guides for all
Albion College systems. Check it out, and let us know if you have any
suggestions for additional training guides.
And finally, BritBot at https://www.albion.edu/britbot . BritBot is a
new, user friendly, artificial Intelligence based chatbot. He is
specifically designed to assist all of our users after hours, on weekends,
or anytime. He will allow us to better meet the needs of our “always on”
campus and users, and hopefully raise our level of service to a new level!
While BritBot’s official coming out party will be in August for the
beginning of the Fall semester, he is open for business and ready to help!
