New Albion Theatre To Be Shared With College, Local Artists
The city of Albion is getting a new theatre space. Two vacant buildings downtown will turn into a multi-use facility for both Albion College and the community. Supporters say they hope it will help boost the local economy and revitalize the college’s theatre department.
New Professor's First Book Reveals War History Through Missionary's Eyes
An almost forgotten family history reveals a grandfather's past as a noncombatant war hero in the first book published by Albion's newest history professor, who is just finishing his first semester on campus. Joseph W. Ho, with University of Michigan emeritus professor Charles Bright, is co-editor of War and Occupation in China: The Letters of an American Missionary from Hangzhou, 1937–1938.
New CIE Director Cristen Casey Hopes to Share Spirit of Adventure
Cristen Casey began in July as Albion College’s new director of the Center for International Education and Off-Campus Programs with a goal of solidifying Albion’s reach internationally and, perhaps more important, emphasizing for students the benefit of studying abroad.
