Ceramics Award

Art major Soe Yu Nwe, '13, adds to her string of undergraduate achievements with the Michigan Ceramic Art Association's 2012 Scholarship Award. The statewide competition, intended to encourage serious students of ceramics, included a $1,000 prize.
An international student from Burma, Nwe knew nothing about ceramics before arriving at Albion College in 2009. She has since won other juried awards for her work, along with two grants from Albion College's Foundation for Research, Scholarship and Creative Activity.
