Albion College

We're excited to launch the latest edition of an Albion e-newsletter with a new Albion College experience.

This is what happens every day

This site was created to give prospective students a glimpse into what life at Albion is all about. Site visitors can browse through dramatic video clips and find the topics that interest them most. They can select four video segments to create their own, personalized Albion in a Day experience. The best part? They can share it with friends and family via Facebook, Twitter, and Google Plus.

You're welcome to try it out for yourself. The new Experience site is featured prominently on the home page as well.

Now, we're asking you to create your own video at and share it with your friends and family. Show your Albion pride. And help us show the world what makes our college so great.

Experiential Education at Albion College: The Foundation for Undergraduate Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity (FURSCA)

The notion of experiential education, or learning by doing, is an incredibly valuable element in any student's academic career. Experiential education can take many forms: internships, service learning, job shadowing, apprenticeships, research fellowships, and volunteer activities, to name a few.

>Just one of the many opportunities Albion College offers our students is The Foundation for Undergraduate Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity (FURSCA). FURSCA was established to promote and support student research, original scholarship, and creative efforts in all disciplines. Albion College's unique approach is built on the importance of faculty-student interaction. Each FURSCA participant works one-on-one with a faculty member during his or her project. This model prepares students for graduate school or future employment. Students may take advantage of FURSCA activities as early as their freshman year.

FURSCA is a donor-supported program at Albion College. Through generous donations, FURSCA provides grants to purchase supplies or cover other costs related to student research.
