Continuing a Legacy: Meet the Build Albion Fellows Class of 2023

The newest class of Build Albion Fellows features 10 local students who are eager to play an active role in the future of their town. Notably, half of the group has a sibling who is also a participant in the five-year-old program, which after a selection process provides four-year tuition, housing and meals to high school graduates from Albion in exchange for service in the community.

Wes Dick: Judge Damon Keith’s Life Was an American Dream Story
|
|
|
The longtime federal judge and friend of Albion College passed away April 28. In a tribute, history professor Wes Dick writes, “At every stage of his life, Damon Keith faced racism and prejudice. … Despite the obstacles, indignities and insults, Damon Keith became a ‘Crusader for Justice’ and a ‘Beloved Icon.’”

New Grad Continues His Basketball Journey

Jaylin Fordham, ’19, helped Albion gain its first MIAA men’s basketball tournament championship since 1998. He’s now taking his skills, and his accounting degree, to Central Michigan University, where he will be a graduate assistant for CMU head coach Keno Davis.
