First-Year Students: Albion-O Schedule for New Students

This schedule has been developed with the coordination and help of departments and programs throughout the College. While we have worked to assemble a solid program framework, we are still encountering developments and changes in our Albion environment. In order for us to provide you with the most accurate program information and details, New Students will be sent a daily Albion-O schedule to their Albion College email account. Please refer to that daily schedule as the most accurate and updated Albion-O information, as times, locations and programs may have shifted from previous postings. To get you started, here is the New Student Orientation Schedule for the first four days.

Transfer Students: Albion-O Schedule for Transfer Students

Transfer students will be arriving to campus on different days depending upon which residential hall unit you have been assigned. Transfer Students who live in Wesley and Seaton are invited to join all of the New Student Orientation programming beginning on August 12 or 13 as you will be on the same schedule as first year students.

Transfer students who return to campus on later days are welcome to join the New Student Orientation in full when you are released from your Covid testing quarantine. Keep in mind, that release date will be different for each individual.

Transfer students who have not yet arrived on campus or are still in the quarantine phase may participate in any of the virtual Albion-O Programs on the schedule. Those programs marked required in the schedule contain important information for all new students. If you can virtually join these programs in real time, that is preferred. However, if you have a conflict and cannot participate in real-time, programs will be recorded and made available for viewing at a later date on our Albion-O website.

First-Year Students: Transfer Students: Tradition of “Painting the Rock” Coloring Page

New Students, here is your first opportunity to “Paint the Rock.” Albion College students, for years, have painted “The Rock” on campus to announce events and mark special occasions. Your arrival to campus is indeed a special occasion. To participate in this long standing tradition, simply print out one of the rock images in this linked file and decorate according to your style. Then display it in your room or take a photo and share with family/friends on social media

Together Safely in the Fall Website

Together Safely! Committed to a safe and healthy arrical to campus.

Just a reminder, the College has created a website called Together Safely in the Fall. This site features a collection of information and resources detailing the approach the College is taking to have students return to campus safely. Important posts describing the process of moving back to campus and residential expectations can be found under Student Life, and information about classes and the learning experience are under the heading of Academics. Heath and Wellness information is also posted on the site along with the Comprehensive Public Initiative, and continuing Admission information.
