Theatre Stages Comedy 'Fox on the Fairway'

Country club goes fight club in an evening of hilarity, as Albion College Theatre stages Fox on the Fairway from Thursday, February 28 through Sunday, March 3 in the Herrick Auditorium, part of the Dow Recreation Center complex. Curtain time is 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, with a 2 p.m. Sunday matinee.

Fox on the Fairway centers around members of the Quail Valley and Crouching Squirrel golf clubs and their quest for the Inter-Club Cup. Chaos ensues and relationships are tested when the pressure comes into full swing after a secret bet is revealed. When stakes are high, members of both clubs are willing to do almost anything to secure the win.

"It's about love, hi-jinks and ugly golf sweaters," said stage manager Corey Brittain, '13. "Knowing the show like the back of my hand, the cast continues to get a reaction out of me every night. It will get everyone laughing."

Fox on the Fairway contains some sexual references and is not intended for children younger than 13. Tickets are $2 and may be purchased in advance or at the door. For more information or to reserve tickets, contact the Albion College Theatre Department at or 517/629-0344.
