Jazz Ensemble Plays Goodrich Chapel
Albion College's Jazz Ensemble returns home with a concert in Goodrich Chapel on Thursday, November 15, at 7:30 p.m.
The popular "house band" at Albion Cascarelli's for several years, the ensemble's Goodrich Chapel concert will feature many of its favorite pieces as well as music new to Albion audiences.

Orchestra Concert Highlights Inner Talents
Albion College's Symphony Orchestra associate conductor and bass instructor are featured on their concert of 20th-century music Sunday, October 28, at 4 p.m. in the College Goodrich Chapel.
Adjunct bass instructor Ed Fedewa moves center stage performing Serge Koussevitzky's Double Bass Concerto, while associate conductor Drew Dunham conducts his arrangement from Bartok's "Hungarian Peasant Songs." Rounding out the concert are "Ein Marchen," Czech composer Josef Suk's suite inspired by four Czech folk tales, and Sibelius's masterpiece "Finlandia," performed with the Albion College Concert Choir.

Music Showcases Students in College Concert
Homecoming weekend at Albion College ends with a flourish, as the Music Department presents a College Concert Saturday, October 13, at 8 p.m. in Goodrich Chapel.
The concert will features the British Eighth marching band, Jazz Ensemble, Concert Choir, Briton Singers, Women's Chorus and Symphony Orchestra. In addition, student pianists Matthew Gallick and Scott Santoro, and harpist Phillip Carlisle will perform crowd-pleasing solo pieces.
The concert will end with the orchestra and combined choirs performing Jean Sibelius' masterpiece "Finlandia."

Albion College Jazz Ensemble Begins Season at Cascarelli's
The Albion College Jazz Ensemble offers its first performance of the academic year on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 9 p.m. at Cascarelli's in downtown Albion. The Jazz Ensemble will perform their familiar set of jazz standards.
Later this month, the Jazz Ensemble will spend the weekend of Sept. 28-30 at Mackinac Island's Grand Hotel, performing at the fourth annual Grand Getaway alumni event.
