In a nutshell, what do you do?

I am responsible for post sourcing shifter (Human Machine Interface) sales activities for Audi and Volkswagen accounts. This includes direct contact with customers, breakdown of manufacturing costs, engineering costs and overhead costs to provide an accurate quotation to the customer regarding changes made to their parts. I am also responsible for analyzing reports to figure out a profit delta as well as financial breakeven points to calculate profitability within each component. I act as an German interpreter within my division as well.

Why do you love what you do?

I love what I do because: I love what I do because I get to put many aspects of what I learned through my major to work as well as a daily interaction with the German language. The company is a good company to work for and makes the work-home life balance seem easy.

What did you like about Albion?

The ability to learn beyond the textbook. With the amount of real world applications and hands on learning I was introduced to during my time at Albion, I was able to learn how to do the tasks that my job requires me to do on a day to day basis.

For me, Albion…

…gave me the opportunity to push my experiences within the real world workforce to the next step.
