Wittland, '19, Making Strides in Health-Focused Social Media Internship
Andrew Wittland, '19, has lofty goals for the upcoming cross country season and for his career after college. That's why, in addition to logging the miles necessary to run near the front of the pack this fall, he is gaining an experiential learning opportunity this summer as a social media intern for the Spectrum Health sports medicine and orthopedic group based in his hometown of Grand Rapids, Mich. An added bonus: Wittland is working under the direction of Albion athletic training alumnus Luke Murray, '13.

Survey Helps Comm Studies Professor Find Silver Linings in Dark Clouds
Bethany Mutter, visiting assistant professor of communication studies, conducted a survey over the entire 2016-17 academic year to learn how people handle difficult experiences in their lives. Quinn, '03, Uncorks a New Online Business
The first game was Read Between the Wines. The new game is Brew Ha Ha! And the third game, currently in the midst of some serious research and development, is called Whiskey Business. And they are all part of an online startup, Uncorked Games. Sense a theme? Audra Quinn (left), '03, laughs. She knows how it looks. But the Royal Oak native isn't as interested in alcohol and the consumption thereof as she is camaraderie and fun and, yes, perhaps making a few bucks.

Kneisel, '17, Lines Up Successful Internship with Parade Company
"When you say you work for the Parade Company to someone who lives in Detroit, expect a handshake and a long conversation," says Evan Kneisel, '17, who as a fall-semester intern performed a wide variety of important tasks related to sponsorships for Detroit's annual Thanksgiving Day parade.
