For a Build Albion Fellow, Service Extends to Sister Cities

In addition to his studies, Chris Bell, ’20, gives back to the Albion community as part of the College’s Build Albion Fellows Program. Little did he know that he also would have a month-long opportunity this year to give back to Albion’s sister cities, Noisy-le-Roi and Bailly, France.

Albion to Offer Two New Marketing-Focused Majors in Fall 2019

With an eye toward the future and a nod to the past, Albion College has established two new majors that will put a fresh spin on traditional subjects. Integrated marketing communication will be added in the Department of Communication Studies, while marketing management will be available in the Department of Economics and Management.

In deciding to attend Albion College, Sarah Kilbreath, '20, assumed she would give up her dream of working in media production. But thanks to The Philadelphia Center, Kilbreath spent the fall semester on shoot sets, in editing rooms and drinking a lot of 5 a.m. coffee, getting valuable experience in a field she hopes will become a career.

Zachary Hall, '18, Helps Peers Deal with Diabetes and Discrimination

“People with a disability like diabetes are often viewed as unable to do certain tasks, and this stereotype can cause issues during employment," says Zachary Hall, '18, who is interning with the national College Diabetes Network (CDN) while simultaneously finishing his senior year at Albion College. His work focuses on the CDN "Off to Work" guide, which gives practical advice to young people with diabetes in the job market.
