Samuel J. Shaheen, MD, graduated from Albion College in 1988. Upon graduation, he continued his education, earning his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Michigan in 1992. He finished his residency training at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University. Dr. Shaheen currently serves as Professor of Surgery and Vice Chair of Surgical Disciplines for CMU College of Medicine in Saginaw, Michigan.
Dr. Shaheen’s Albion College involvement includes: Board of Trustees, Delta Tau Delta, Phi Beta Kappa, Union Board President, Union Board Treasurer, Student Senate, SOAR Leader, Albion Fellow Recipient: Project 250 Award, Admissions Volunteer, Briton Career Connection, Current Career Development Volunteer, Current Enrollment Volunteer and National Volunteer Network.
Dr. Shaheen currently serves on numerous regional and local boards.
He and his wife, Holly, reside in Saginaw, Michigan with their three children, Natalie, Samuel and Adrienne.
