Professional Association: Founder, Keith James, PLLC, Detroit.
Education: B.A., Economics and Management, Albion College, 1986; J.D., University of Wisconsin-Madison
Albion College prepared Keith early on for a career that would evolve into helping people in any way he could. He learned that as a member of the Ford Institute, when one course he took required him to serve as a City Council member, debating and addressing real-world issues. He went on to serve as vice president of Albion’s Student Senate, where he enjoyed tackling questions of human behavior and rational thought.
Keith continued on to the University of Wisconsin Law School and, after serving 14 years as corporate counsel for Masco Corp., he founded his own law firm, Keith James, PLLC. He credits his Albion education for making him the writer, leader and thinker he is today.
