After graduation, Jeff joined The Procter & Gamble Company ultimately holding senior functional roles in Marketing, Sales and Finance. As VP/General Manager he ran consumer and institutional businesses in the U.S. and Canada. Jeff then founded and led P&G's Global Business Development responsible for worldwide Acquisitions/Divestures, Trademark/Patent/IP Licensing and leading P&G's Open Innovation platform (Connect & Develop). Jeff negotiated and lead the signing of deals every 2 ½ days for a decade with companies, individuals, universities and governments across the U.S., Europe and Asia.
As founder/CEO of Cintrifuse (on loan from P&G), Jeff led the creation of Cintrifuse, a Cincinnati based innovation network designed to make the region a global destination for high potential start-ups. Cintrifuse provides start-ups with preferred access to capital, space and most importantly customers. Supported by the business, academic and start-up communities, Cintrifuse has raised a $55MM+ Fund of Funds, which has already invested in top tier Venture firms with over $600MM in investable capital. He also secured a $16MM permanent mortgage free urban campus (Circa 1880's) in the heart of Cincinnati's urban renewal Over-The-Rhine core. Cintrifuse proactively connects start-ups with companies that could be beta customers, investors or acquirers, with VC 's with early stage capital and mentors/services.
At Albion College, Jeff's activities included: Sigma Chi, Student Senate (President), Economics and History honoraries, Project 250 Award, Lacrosse (Club) and as a Recent Graduate Trustee. Currently, he serves on the Gerstacker External Advisory Board and Albion Colleges' Board of Trustees and co-chairs the Committee on Trusteeship.
