IT Incident: Restoral from power outage incident

A scheduled, emergency network outage is planned tomorrow, Saturday May 12,
between 8:00am and 5:00pm
During this period the campus network will experience significant outages
of telephone, internet and other networked services. We will do our best
to keep such interruptions to a minimum. See details below.

We have received a number of reports of slow / sluggish internet
connections since this outage. We have looked into the issues, and find
that they are the result of the temporary measures we had to put in place
to restore the network after the power outage.

IT Update: Banner Maintenance – 5/7

Upgrades to Banner will be installed tonight, May 7th. This will result in
associated services being intermittently unavailable – including ACIS,
Argos, and reports.albion.edu Outages for each service should be less than
30 minutes and may occur occasionally throughout the evening.
