  • Stacey Burnaford was accepted into Oakland University's Masters degree Counseling  program. (7/7/2003)

  • Roman Reznikov was admitted to the Masters program in Industrial / Organizational Psychology at University of Detroit - Mercy. (6/25/2003)

  • Liz Haas was the undergraduate winner of the American Psychological Society's prestigious Student Research Competition for her thesis research to be presented at the upcoming APS annual convention. (5/20/2003)

  • Ryan Morgan was accepted by the University of Michigan's Social Work Program. (5/20/2003)

  • Liz Monge was admitted to Western Carolina University's Masters in Clinical Psychology program. (5/15/2003)

  • Kristen Abraham will present her research entitled "The role of sex and sexism in conflict resolution" (co-authored with Dr. Christopher) at the annual meeting of the American Psychological Society. (5/12/2003)

  • Travis Boyd will present his research entitled "Predictors of athletic burnout in Division III student-athletes" (co-authored with Dr. Christopher) at the annual meeting of the American Psychological Society. (5/12/2003)

  • Liz Haas will present her research entitled "The interpersonal and professional consequences of narcissistic and avoidant personality tendencies" (co-authored with Dr. Christopher) at the annual meeting of the American Psychological Society. (5/12/2003)

  • Ryan Morgan & Jordan Troisi will present their research entitled "Affluence cues and first impressions: Does it matter how the affluence was acquired?" (co-authored with Dr. Christopher) at the annual meeting of the American Psychological Society. (5/12/2003)

  • Lauren Hecht and Sarah Storbeck presented their research (co-authored by Dr. Anes) at a national Vision Sciences Research Conference in Florida. (5/12/2003)

  • Amanda Staton was accepted to Wayne State University's master's program in school psychology. (4/29/2003)

  • Lily Sacks received a Jenkins Award for her outstanding Honors Thesis. (4/28/2003)

  • Sarah McRoberts (2002) will attend the University of San Diego for her M.A. in Counseling with a specialization in School Counseling.  She was also admitted to the counseling program at California State University at Long Beach. (4/28/2003)

  • Tara Springer got in to the University of Detriot - Mercy's School Psychology program (for her Education Specialist degree). (4/22/2003)

  • Alison Whyte has been accepted into AmeriCorps. She will be working at the Montana Center on Disabilities in Billings Montana. (4/22/2003)

  • Lily Sacks received the Lux Fiat Award for excellence in Service and Academics for the development of the Young Mothers Program. (4/18/2003)

  • Ryan Morgan was admitted to the Masters of Social Work program at Washington University. (4/18/2003)

  • Dani Crane was hired as a manager for Battleground, Inc., in Greensboro, NC. (4/16/2003)

  • Jillian Gismondi was admitted to Wayne State University's M.S.W. program.  (4/14/2003).

  • Emily Dobbins was admitted to the masters program in school psychology at the University of Denver. (4/2/2003)

  • Travis Boyd was admitted to the masters program in athletic counseling at Springfield College. (4/2/2003)

  • Hannon Hogan was admitted to the Masters program in counseling psychology at Bowling Green State University. (3/18/2003)

  • Sarah DiPonio was admitted to veterinary medicine programs at Michigan State, University of Pennsylvania, and Purdue.  She rocks! (3/17/2003)

  • Rose-Anne Meissner was admitted to a Ph.D. program with the Neuroscience Graduate Group at the University of Pennsylvania. (2/18/2003)

  • Courtney Hancock was admitted to the M.D. program at Emory University. (2/17/2003)

  • Emily Dobbins has had a paper (with Dr. Christopher) entitled "Three Decades of Social Psychology: A Longitudinal Analysis of Baron and Byrne's Textbook") accepted for publication in Teaching of Psychology. (2/11/2003)

  • Lauren Hecht was accepted to the graduate program in cognition and perception at the University of Iowa. (1/28/2003)

  • Julia Ogg (2002) was accepted into the School Psychology program at University of Wisconsin - Madison and at Michigan State University. (1/23/2002)

  • Jessie Kruer (2002) was admitted to the School Psychology program at Michigan State University. (1/22/2003)

  • Jessica Zamborsky (2002) had a poster entitled "Parenting stress and parental involvement and their relationship with Social and Emotional Competence in Disabled and Nondisabled Preschoolers" (co-authored with Dr. Walter) accepted for presentation in April 2003 at the Biennial Meeting of the Society for Research in Child Development, Tampa, FL.   • Emily Williams has been admitted to Dental School at both University of Detroit - Mercy and University of Michigan. (12/6/2002)

  • Joe Pipesh was admitted to Dental School at Indiana University - Purdue University Indianapolis. (12/6/2002)

  • Julia Ogg (2002) presented her senior thesis research in November at the annual meeting of the Society for Neuroscience in Orlando, FL. (12/6/2002)
