Homecoming is about reconnecting with old friends, sharing memories of the "good old days," and most importantly - it's about Alumni Band! Every year at Homecoming, past members of the British Eighth Marching Band return for another chance to step onto the football field and make music with current members of the greatest marching band in the MIAA.
Alumni Band is open to all who have ever donned a red coat with gold buttons, worn a B8 baseball hat, played an instrument, twirled a flag, spun a rifle, or conducted the band on the hallowed ground that is Schmidt-Fraser Field. All that is required to have a good time at Homecoming is to sign-up online for the British Eighth Alumni Band, and have a desire to relive the glory days!
As we say every year, this is the perfect opportunity for you to catch up with your British Eighth family, share some crazy B8 memories with the current band, and dust off the instrument (or borrow a school instrument) and play like you are 20 years old again!
As everyone knows, band is one of the activites/classes on campus here at Albion College that creates a lasting bond among its members, and it is so wonderful to see all of the past members and hear all of their "band stories" and relive some of that Briton experience. You may have graduated, but you are all still a part of the "greatest marching band in the MIAA!"
