What you'll study.

Communicate effectively, and challenge your fluency at any level. Explore significant cultural and historical topics from Latin American, U.S. Latino/a, and Peninsular Spanish perspectives. You'll build a solid foundation in Spanish cultural studies as well as linguistic competency. Course requirements.

What you'll do.

Choose from three tracks: a generalist track, Spanish Language and Culture for the Professions, or the Transamerican Latino/a Studies track. You'll be immersed in the language through the I-Space, weekly dining with faculty, and studying abroad. Spanish experience opportunities.

Your fluency will help you thrive across many professions in a global economy. Our Spanish Language and Culture for the Professions track is intended for pre-professionals who want to learn the language and attain cultural knowledge of the target country. Potential career paths.
