Steavenson, '15, Pursues Paris for Next Chapter

At Albion, Laura Steavenson identifies herself as both an English major and a swimmer. But now, a few weeks removed from her final college swimming season, the senior from Dexter, Michigan, is beginning to write the next chapter in her life. A self-described Francophile, Steavenson hopes that chapter will feature a yearlong master's degree program in Paris Studies through the University of London.

English Education Major Logan Woods, '14, to Teach in Romania on Fulbright

As a middle-school student, history and English education major Logan Woods randomly chose the country of Romania for a social studies project. It's the kind of story that warms a teacher's heart: From that assignment, Woods gained an abiding interest in the country. Now, as the recipient of a 2014-15 Fulbright Student Award, Woods will spend nine months in Romania, teaching English in a school setting.
