Analysis of a presidency and a walk down memory lane combined for a uniquely enlightening evening as Susan Ford Bales presented the 2013 Stoffer Lecture. The youngest child and only daughter of President Gerald R. Ford gave a heartfelt presentation and some thoughtful history to the hundreds of Albion College students, faculty, staff and community members gathered for the College's Opening Convocation.

Presidential daughter Susan Ford Bales makes a special visit to Michigan to deliver the 2013 Albion College William K. Stoffer Lecture, the centerpiece of the College's Opening Convocation. Her presentation, titled “The American Presidency: Before Jerry and Betty—and After,” follows the Convocation processional, which begins at 7 p.m. Thursday, August 29, in Albion College’s Goodrich Chapel.

Thirteen seniors from the Gerald R. Ford Institute for Leadership in Public Policy and Service visited the District April 6-9 as part of their Ford Senior Colloquium. The trip included visits with legislators, an insider's view of the Supreme Court and C-SPAN, and discussions and networking with alumni.
