Class of 1960 Intern Is Positive About Albion's Potential
"As a nontraditional student who rents a house in Albion, goes to the grocery store in Albion, goes to the bar in Albion, it was sort of inevitable that I would start to notice that Albion has a business community doing whatever it could to attract jobs," writes Patrick Lopez, '15, who secured an internship with the Albion Economic Development Corporation through the Gerald R. Ford Institute Presents 'Albion Tomorrow' Panel

Albion College's 300-seat Towsley Lecture Hall was nearly full with students, faculty, and members of the Albion community September 11 as they listened to a panel of experts talk about "Albion Tomorrow: The Liberal Arts College as Partner in Community Revitalization." The event, presented by the Gerald R. Ford Institute for Leadership in Public Policy and Service, kicked off three days of Celebrate Albion! festivities featuring the Inauguration of President Mauri Ditzler.

McLean: Ford Showed 'Government Can Indeed Work'

From Model UN to Soccer, Bobowski, '16, Leads by Example

Whether the organization is the men’s soccer team, the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee or the Sigma Nu fraternity, Andrew Bobowski desires to be a leader at Albion College. The sophomore from Rockwood, Michigan, also got to role-play a leader—a Bolivian general—as part of Albion's Model UN club that recently traveled to New York for a competition.
