I've always had an interest in politics, so Ford was a great way to make connections. It's also a great way to be an active member of society and makes current events more interesting and applicable to real life.
Right now I'm really interested in what's going on with ISIS. I think it's important to be aware of cultural misconceptions that we hold in society, and since I've studied Islam I've become more drawn to ISIS to see why they are committing such atrocities and how their actions affect other Muslims.
I'm currently studying Islam, and will continue my studies until next semester. I try and attend different cultural holidays and festivities so I can keep an open mind and experience new things.
It's hard to narrow it down to just one. Something I would never trade is the relationship I have with my professors and the opportunities I've had even as a freshman. There's no way I could have the same experiences at another institution. Albion is very unique that way.
I would love to work on a campaign for any degree of legislator. Someday it would be amazing to make it to Washington and work for someone in Congress.
