The Economics and Management Department provides students with an understanding of economic and management principles that will be useful throughout their careers. We address both the immediate application of problem-solving techniques and the conceptual basis for those techniques. The department offers an eight-unit major, a ten-unit major with emphasis (emphases in economics, general business, human resources, or international business and international economics), a major in accounting (corporate track or C.P.A. track), a major in finance, and four minors. The department also supports the interdepartmental majors in mathematics/economics, business and organizations, public policy and social studies.
