Kevin is a senior partner based in Ernst & Young LLP’s San Jose, CA office. He serves as the global coordinating partner for some of the firm’s most significant clients, and also leads Ernst & Young LLP’s Assurance practice in the Silicon Valley. Kevin focuses on the technology industry, advising global clients on accounting and reporting matters related to new business models, acquisitions, restructurings, debt and equity offerings, finance captives, leasing, international tax matters related to offshore earnings, complex tax structures as well as dealings with the Securities and Exchange Commission and other regulators.
In 2009, Kevin relocated to the Silicon Valley from Detroit, where he served as the firm’s regional assurance leader. During his 24 years of experience in Detroit, Kevin was actively involved in working with clients to address leading business matters facing the automotive industry including advising on numerous international and domestic acquisitions, divestitures, debt and equity offerings and the most significant restructurings within the industry. He was also a member of the leadership team forming the Detroit-based EY Global Automotive Center.
Kevin received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Management from Albion College in 1986. He has been involved in a number of Albion College organizations and programs including Sigma Nu, Briton Career Connections and the Gerstacker Institute Visiting Committee. In addition, he is an active participant in his community, serving on the board of the Lincoln Child Center based in Oakland, CA. The Lincoln Child Center provides mental health care services to the most at-risk and emotionally troubled children and families in the Bay Area.
Kevin and his wife, Essie, have three children: twin daughters, Erin and Morgan, and son, Ross. They reside in Los Gatos, CA.
